Kenya – Food Security and Traveling Cinema (from January 2026)
Starting in January 2026, the Foundation will be engaged in Kenya in a project focused on food security and the promotion of good agricultural practices. The initiative will be carried out in collaboration with Mani Tese, an Italian non-governmental organization that promotes international cooperation and sustainable development, supporting vulnerable communities through education, training, and strengthening of local agricultural value chains. The project is funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation.
The program will use a traveling cinema as the main tool for awareness-raising and training, bringing films, audiovisual materials, and discussion sessions directly to rural communities. The goal will be to spread knowledge on sustainable agricultural practices and foster greater awareness of food security, improving the living conditions of local families and promoting inclusive rural development.
Through this initiative, the Foundation and Mani Tese will create spaces for learning and participation, stimulating dialogue on challenges related to agriculture and nutrition, and strengthening community resilience.
